Designed by the company’s in-house architects, the Crown store will be the first in Australia to adopt a new BVLGARI design concept.
BVLGARI has opened a new store at the Crown Entertainment Complex. Designed by the company's in-house architects, the store is the first in Australia to adopt a new BVLGARI design concept.
The main characteristic of the new store façade is the inviting use of transparency. Unusual for Bulgari, the sizeable facade is semi-transparent incorporating four giant showcases allowing passers by to see into the store itself. A giant light box displays the main advertising campaign of the year alongside a "bozzetti" silk panel which recalls the heritage of Bulgari's high jewellery and use of coloured precious gemstones.
Upon entering the 70sqm Bulgari store visitors discover an atmosphere inspired by classical museum spatiality, re-thought in a contemporary and sophisticated way. Thanks to the use of the new concept materials the interior design colour palette has soft and warm tones, with the coupling of bleached oak wood, Trani marble and encausto walls contrasting the sleek glossy rich dark brown veneer used for the counters and the showcases. The flooring is a combination of intricate interwoven parquet in-set with luxurious carpeting. The store is one of the first in the world to incorporate special gold fixtures inspired by one of Bulgari's iconic pieces: the Rossellini bag. Finished in two colours of gold, these contemporary fixtures add to the overall luxurious ambience of the store.
